Photography's Desire

I'm a newcomer to this area. I've learnt so much about photography from my friends and seniors that into it. Photography is my passionate now and I'm making it as my hobby whenever I'm free. For those who are the same level as me and wants to know more, here I share some knowledge and tips of photographing that I gain from my beloved friends, Hunny Bee.

  • Selection
Select only the best of your pictures to show to others and leave the rest in the drawer. Showing someone every picture you have taken will dilutes the effect of the best pictures and people will gets very boring.

  • Turn the Camera on it's Side
At first, I felt awkward holding the camera on it's side, but it is worth getting used to. If the shape of your subject, a person or a building, fits into an upright rectangle, you waste so much picture space if you shoot in landscape.

  • Direction of Lighting
Photography is all about light, the direction of the light falling on your subject is most important, you must look at your subject carefully and see how the shadows fall. If you are able to choose the time of day to shoot your pictures, try to pick a time when the sun is low in the sky, either shoot in the early morning or late afternoon. Shooting pictures of people with the sun too high in the sky, tends to mean the subject's eyes will be in shadow and/or your subject will be squinting in the strong light, both of which tend to look horrible. A nice side effect of shooting in the early morning or late afternoon is that the color of the light is 'warmer', reds and yellows are stronger which generally gives a more pleasing effect.I prefer to capture a picture in the late evening after raining and the sun goes out again and almost to sunset.it's such a beautiful moment when versatile meets up the softness of the breeze at the beach. :)
If you are photographing in sunlight, try to position yourself so that the sun hits your subject from the side, this will give you nice 'modeling' and help create a 3D effect in the picture.

  • In Camera Flash
When you have to use the in camera flash, keep your subject(s) away from walls, especially light colored ones, if at all possible, and avoid that ugly black shadow which looks like an outline. This will not show up against a dark background.

  • Shutter Speeds
When the shutter speed is important as with moving objects, it's a good idea to set the camera to 'Shutter Speed Priority' mode. This is where you select the shutter speed and the camera selects the appropriate aperture according to the light reading.

Here are some photos that I can share with you. :)

That's all from me, Nadia..hope to see you in other entry. :)

To CHEAT or NOT TO CHEAT

Cheating is when a person misleads, deceives, or acts dishonestly on purpose. At school, in addition to cheating on a test, students might cheat by stealing someone else's idea for a project or by the answers and turning it in as if it's his or her original work. Copying someone else's words or work and saying they're yours is a type of cheating called plagiarizing.

It's  tempting  to  cheat  because  it  makes  difficult  things  seem  easy,  like getting all the right answers on the test. But it doesn't solve the problem of not knowing the material and it won't help on the next test — unless the person cheats again.

Some  kids  cheat  because  they're  busy  or  lazy  and  they  want  to  get  good grades  without  spending  the  time  studying. Other  kids might feel like they can't pass the test without cheating. Even when there seems to be a "good reason" for cheating, cheating isn't a good idea. The cheaters themselves may feel bad because they know they are not really earning that good grade. And,  if they get caught cheating,  they will be in trouble at school , and maybe at home, too.

So,the conclusion is, AVOID cheating because it doesn't solve any problems and gives advantages instead you are facing many problems.

A Positive Thing that I'm Going to Do During the Mid-Semester Break is ...

A positive thing that I'm going to do during the mid-semester break is to spend my time wisely with my family. As I am living far from my family for studying and was seldom went back home, I want to use this holiday as great as I can with my family.

The most important thing I want to do is to take care of my grandfather who is always fell sick nowadays as my late grandmother had just passed away few months ago. When I go back home for this mid semester holiday, I would take him to the hospital for health check-up. As my parents are busy working, I should spent my time more with him, to make sure he is good enough for health. Besides, I want to tidy up and decorate my house so that my family will fill easy and comfortable to live in it. I will make sure that I serve my family with delicious and variety of foods for everyday. So they don't need to think to have lunch or dinner at restaurant.

Furthermore, I would organize a small BBQ party, just to gather all my family members and to tighten our family bonding. I will ensure that it will be a memorable day to us. Next, i wish to have a family photo-taking to update our photos. After my mid-semester break is finish, I will bring along with one photocopy of the photos and paste it on my hand made photo wall in my room. It will be nice and positive thing I will do.

why students must vote during the student election???

Students Role During Elections?
Like in a Presidential election?
Why we should vote them?
What they can do for us?

Those questions always fly in student's mind. the best way to describe this practice is that voting is a RESPONSIBILITY of every student. Often there are more than enough candidate to fill certain position, so we must ensure that the best among the best are selected so that they can do their job well. Selecting a person with no good background might get all the students into trouble because they cannot present the idea from all student.they might come up with their own selfish idea.

The candidate should be ready to give their full services to their voters. They must fulfill all their promises so that the student should votes wisely for a better future in the campus.

Meanwhile, the Deputy President of Technopreneur and Student Affairs, Prof. Haji Ahmad Zahir Haji Mokhtar in his closing speech of the induction programme urged students to embrace good values in their daily life.
“As a leader we must have value system. Similarly if we want to be successful in life we must also have good values,” he said.

So,students out there, vote fairly and make a best choice. (^_^*)

Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa film.

Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa (HMM) film is an action-packed epic feature film with mythical characters, magical moments and dazzling visual-effects sequences. It is KRU's production film and has been starring by all talented actors and actresses like Stephen Rahman-Hughes as the main character, Jing Lu, Gavin Stenhouse, Craig Robert, Elena, Eric Karl Henrik Norman, Keith Chong Keith Chong, W. Hanafi Su, Dato 'Rahim Razali, Khir Rahman, Ummi Nazeera, Nell Ng, Jehan Miskin, Umi Aida, Kuswadinata, Mano Maniam and Ravi Sunderlingam. We should congratulate the directors and actors as they know on how to choose the best and had managed to play their role excellently. This RM8 billion epic movie used many special visuals and 'computer-generated imagery' (CGI) and some parts seem a bit illogical, but this whole story does not reveal the best and deformities.
This story tells us about a master and a hero who is said to be named Merong Mahawangsa, a descendant of Alexander the Great. In the year 120, when the Roman Empire under the temporary reign of Hadrian in China. The Han Dynasty was a powerful empire and has expanded its rule to the Central Asian countries. During the Roman forces are repairing their vessels in Goa, they ask Merong Mahawangsa for a help for Rome to accompany the Prince of Langkasuka to China to marry a beutiful princess of the Han Dynasty. However, piracy of Garuda tribes have different plans. They decided to kidnap the Princess of Chna and make it as a hostage. At the end of the Malacca Strait irrigation, Merong Mahawangsa and the fleet was attacked by Geruda.

This movie is awesomely interesting isn't it?Besides, we can get closely to know about our country's history. If you eager to know the ending of the story, go watch it at the cinema while it still playing. Enjoy your movie.

Great Leaders are Not Born, They are Made..

Yes, I strongly believe in this statement.

Everyone can be a leader, but not everyone can awesomely be a great leader. However, we can learn and practice on how to become a great one. Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, for example, was a great leader when he was in the government administration and till now. Even our Prophet, Rasulullah s.a.w. started from nothing, until he became the first important and great leader in the world.

"Taken on the whole, I would believe that Gandhi's views were the most enlightened of all the political men of our time. We should strive to do things in his spirit: not to use violence for fighting for our cause, but by non-participation of anything you believe is evil." —Albert Einstein, 1950

From the quote above, Albert Einstein agreed that Mahatma Gandhi was a great leader as he was a pioneer of non-violent protest. He use a soft and diplomatic way to achieve what he wanted.

There are leaders and there are Great Leaders. A great leader is different. A great leader powerfully influences organizations or communities to reach beyond their perceived limits and achieve extraordinary performances that are sustainable over the foreseeable future.

So readers out there, do think that you can be one of the great leader as long as you have your perseverance to achieved it. Make it as your goal and start planning now. Here are some ways that I can share with you. First key is you must have a vision on what you are going to do. Next, give yourself a passion so that you feel energetic for whatever the outcomes exist.  Then, you must have character.  It is because your innate character strengths and limitations play a critical role in your leadership style.

That's it..thank you.

whats the buzz...vAlenTino RosSi

for my new entry..i would like to introduce the most importance person who inspires me in arena SUPERBIKES...yeah..thats him..VALENTINO ROSSI..

He was born at Urbina,Italy on February 16th 1979.His height is 182 cm and has weight about 59 kg.His hobby is soccer and radio-controlled toys.Along his carier as motorbiker racing,he has won 7 grand prix which are 1x250cc,1x500cc,1x125cc and 4 moto GP.His first race was 1991 and first grand prix was 1996  at Malaysia (125cc).

Valentino Rossi starts his fourth campaign as a Yamaha Factory Team rider in 2007 with the clear target of recapturing the MotoGP World Championship title after being dethroned by Nicky Hayden last year. After winning two consecutive World Championships with Yamaha in 2004 and 2005, following on from three previous back-to-back title successes, Rossi finished runner-up to the American despite scoring ten podiums and winning five races – more than any other rider. Now the record-breaking Italian, widely regarded as the finest motorcycle racer of his generation, starts the season without the crown to defend for the first time in five years.

Rossi’s five wins in 2006 took his premier-class career tally to 58, leaving him within striking distance of the legendary Giacomo Agostini’s all-time record of 68 – another enticing target for the 2007 season. For the third consecutive campaign Valentino will be ably assisted by his trusted team-mate and great friend Colin Edwards, as the pair apply their highly effective development partnership to Yamaha’s all-new 800cc machine and attempt to regain the Manufacturers’ and Teams’ titles they won together in 2005.

Rossi made history by moving to Yamaha in 2004 and winning the season-opening Grand Prix in South Africa, becoming the first rider in the history of the sport to win back-to-back premier class races for different manufacturers. He went on to win nine out of 16 races, finally clinching the World Championship title, Yamaha’s first for 12 years, with victory at the penultimate Grand Prix in Phillip Island. A final win at the Valencia Grand Prix also ensured that the Yamaha Factory Team won the team title. Rossi followed up that triumph with a season of unprecedented success in 2005, when he successfully defended the title once again with a total of eleven race wins and five pole positions – only finishing off the podium once.

Rossi turned 28 in February 2007 and remains the youngest rider to have won World Championships in all three classes. He continues to have the support of his long-standing Crew Chief, Jeremy Burgess, who moved from Honda to work with him at Yamaha Factory Racing.

Birth Order Trait

Birth order is just one of many factors that influence the ways in which this competition is expressed. By itself, competition among siblings does not cause birth-order differences in personality. But birth order is a powerful proximate (environmental) source of sibling strategies. These strategic variations arise because birth order is correlated with differences in age, physical size, power, and status within the family. These disparities cause siblings to experience family relationships in dissimilar ways and to pursue differing ways of maximizing their parents’ investments in their welfare.

The environment that a child is raised in plays a big part in how their personality will  develop. Consequently many child will exhibit different character traits and characteristics depending on their birth order or if they are an only child. Of course birth order doesn't guarantee that your first child will have all or even any of the traits typically associated with  a first child; but birth order tends to accentuate character traits that your child already possesses. Of course if there are large gaps between your children or you have one boy in a family of girls you might have overlapping birth order characteristics.

First-born children desire control and they will typically become a compliant nurturer or a more aggressive mover and shaker. Thats right. As my brother is a first child,he is a quite aggressive but nice person. He is consumed with following the rules and is a high achiever.  He takes a good care of his siblings and very responsible brother. He can also be bossy.

The middle child will demonstrate the greatest variety of character traits, but they will usually be opposite of their older sibling. As the middle chlid, i will try to be unique, so that my parents could recognize my own talents. Middle children often feel stuck in the middle so take time to listen will help empower them and make them feel special.

Youngest children are usually very different from their older siblings My youngest brother tend to be more social and funny. He doesn't have as much responsibility and are more carefree. He is also often driven to catch up with his older siblings and follow in their footsteps. It is important that parents still enforce the rules when their youngest comes along. It is easy to just let things slide, but once it starts it is hard to stop. My parents often baby their youngest child because he is the last one. Thats why he become more childish. But it is important to teach responsibility, and also need to applaud their accomplishments.

I'm one of the fanatic MICHEAL JORDAN!!!!

For the new entry, i want to introduce to all of you who don't know the person named Micheal Jordan...{@_@}

Michael Jordan was born on February 17, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York, one of James and Deloris Jordan's five children. The family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, when Michael was very young. His father worked as a General Electric plant supervisor, and his mother worked at a bank. His father taught him to work hard and not to be tempted by street life. His mother taught him to sew, clean, and do laundry. Jordan loved sports but failed to make his high school basketball team as a sophomore. He continued to practice and made the team the next year. After high school he accepted a basketball scholarship to the University of North Carolina, where he played under head coach Dean Smith.

In Jordan's first season at North Carolina he was named Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Rookie of the Year for 1982. The team won the ACC championship, and Jordan made the clutch jump shot that beat Georgetown University for the championship of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Jordan led the ACC in scoring as a sophomore and as a junior. The Sporting News named him college player of the year for both years. He left North Carolina after his junior year and was selected by the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA) as the third pick of the 1984 draft. Before joining the Bulls, Jordan was a member of the Summer 1984 United States Olympic basketball team that won the gold medal in Los Angeles, California.

By adding such players as Scottie Pippen, Bill Cartwright, Horace Grant, and John Paxson around Jordan, the Bulls' management created a strong team that won the 1991 NBA title by defeating the Los Angeles Lakers. The next year, the Bulls repeated as NBA champions by beating the Portland Trail Blazers. In 1992 Jordan also played on the "Dream Team," which participated in the Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain. The Olympic Committee had voted to lift the ban on professional athletes participating in the games. The team easily won the gold medal, winning their eight games by an average margin of 43.7 points.

Jordan retired for a second time in 1999, ending his career on a high note just after the official end of a labor dispute between NBA players and team owners. Many people saw him as the greatest basketball player ever, and his retirement was called the end of an era. In 2000 Jordan became part-owner and president of basketball operations of the Washington Wizards. This made him only the third African American owner in the NBA. He also gained an ownership stake in the Washington Capitals hockey team. Also in 2000, Jordan celebrated the first year of his $1 million grant program to help teachers make a difference in their schools.

He was also distracted in January 2002 when his wife Juanita, whom he married in 1989, filed for divorce. (They have three children.) The next month the divorce was called off. Jordan said he planned to play one more season for the Wizards.

Do you think we should give monetary incentive to the KP2 students to motivate them to get better grades?

KP2 students is also known as students who get CGPA below than 2.0 in two times and will be suspended or known as FO which means Failed and Out when they get KP3.

From the issue above, I am totally disagree if the university wants to give monetary incentive to the KP2 students to motivate themselves to get better grades. For me, this is not the right way and it will even worsen them.

Firstly, they will spent the money in other way round and not in education area. Let imagine that we are the KP2 students. Do we want to spent them in the right way? My answer is no.Logically, I will enjoy with the money to release my stress about having KP2 position.

Second, I think that the university administration is just wasting their money to give these students the money. It will resulted badly to the university back,if the students doesn't get better grades. Instead of giving monetary incentive to them, they can do motivation talk to them which will be better way. From the talk, they can get some spirit to improve themselves and knows what to do to have a better grades. So,this way is not wasting the admin's money and even benifits them

if i can rule the world...i will_____

hmm...if i can rule the world..first n foremost..i want to rule MALAYSIA..why???
because nowadays..MALAYSIA have faced many social problems ..

'Between social change and law'

There are no easy answer- legal, social, religious or political- to the controversy surrounding the marriage of a 14-year-old girl to a 23-year-old man.

When laws are drafted, lawmakers lay down general rules of conduct. They usually have in mind the average citizen over 21 years old. When the judge interprets the law,he usually speaks in terms of the average, reasonable man.Hence,in a world of average, reasonable men,law making is far less complicated.

But the world is full of exceptions, and the old adage has reason in it,that the exceptions test the rule. The exception in this context is that Muslim girls below the age of 16 and Muslim men below the age of 18 can marry only with the Syariah Court's consent.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department,Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom, was reported to have said the marriage was legal as it had the Syariah Court's consent. It's refreshing to know and to see that the minister is answering the controversies around the issue and not sweeping it under the carpet.

The Syariah court's decision in this case seems to contradict decisions on the matter by Al Azhar Al Sharif, the highest religious body in the Sunni world, through a manual on the rights of Muslim children.Marriage in Islam is regulated by certain rules, namely, childeren must reach puberty and maturity so that they can get married.

The Convention on Children Rights (CRC) defines a child as a person less than 18 years old.Whereas, under Shari'ah law,a child has no legal capacity except when he/she has reached the age of puberty. It is based in effect on the Islamic principle of 'akl (reason) which may not necessarily be 18 years old.The child acquires that capacity when he/she reaches the age which Islamic law presumes him/her to have acquired 'akl. This is different in the various schools of thought, but it would appear that "maturity of mind" in the context of certain transactions gives the child a limited capacity.

In Islamic law,on attaining puberty,a marriage may only be permissible;it is not mandatory by any interpretation.Neither the Quran nor the Prophet prescribed any fixed age for puberty or marriage. From the legal perspective, several studies have highlighted powerful critique of such laws, the lacunae in it as well as the confusion, contradictions, and lack of gender sensitivity inherent in the various statutes dealing with the age of marriage, the age of consent ,and the validity of marriage.

Many of these weddings are furtive and hurried. This not only deprives a young girl but also militates against opportunities to think through, especially on practical and interpersonal readiness for marriage.Significant suggestions as to actions which can be taken by interested persons and, NGOs to challenge and change the existing situation are also proposed in such studies. These outline strategies to help those who have been married at an early age,and for the prevention of the marriage through education.advocacy and alliance-building.
